yet playing a slow paradiddle is done with no bounce...

The question here is does double stroke mean "bounce"?

This is what I was talking about before . . . there is a difference between the "strokes of the rudiment" and the techniques used to play said strokes. Different techniques work better at different tempos.

A slow paradiddle is very difficult to play with all bounce, and a very fast one is near impossible to play without bounce.

well, once you pass a certain speed, a certain amount of bounce incorporating itself is inevitable, wrist stroke or no wrist stroke.

This my friends defines the difference in "drum forums".

This is the real deal.

Positive discussions on how to view a topic in debate. All done with no name calling, no belittling, or hurt feelings....

Cool!
