just dug out this maraca i got many years ago from an indian band i saw perform. i've been playing with it on my kit. it's like, authentic. anyone else like maracas? let's hear about it.

I was at a Peruvian wedding last night and they passed out maracas and it made it so fun cause you can just jam to the music.

You might be able to play a funk kind of groove with your "hi hat" hand hitting the maraca on your leg. I've seen that done with like little tambourine jingle sticks at least.
