http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PaJpt1bXhg4This is my friends band, they have a drummer that had all state tryouts that night or something, so I got to fill in for them! We've never practiced, they threw the MP3 at me, then we just winged it at the talent show audition, and that was it. Watch till the end for my drum solo. Tyler Odell - Guitar/Vox Joey Dilorenzo - Bass Jason DeLima - Drums Specs: 22"x16"/16"x16"/13"x11" Ludwig Accents 14"x5" DW Collector's Birch Snare 13" Saluda Nemesis Medium Vented Hats 14" Saluda Mist Hybrid Inverted Crash 16" Saluda Mist X Crash 18" Saluda Earthworks Medium Thin Dark Crash 22" Saluda Mist X Big Bell Ride

That was good man! Looked like in the second verse those eights were tiring you out. Remember the audience doesnt know how the song goes so you could've played quarters and saved yourself.

Great job Jason. Solid, confident strokes. Aces. Wish I coulda heard your Bass drum better, but thats not your fault. The hi-hats sounded really good in that mix.

I flubbed up the fill into the chorus, I was scared that it was noticeable. Brother_Bong wrote: Great job Jason. Solid, confident strokes. Aces. They projected well compared to the other drummers at the show.

Just had a listen and I gotta say that that sounded mega tight. Well done although I did cringe a little bit when ya kicked (or pushed) your Floor Tom away Cheers Duba

way to go, buddy!!!
i watched a video of them playing the song with what i'm assuming is their normal drummer and i'd take your playing any day.
much looser, much more natural looking.
... and enthusiastic enough to boot your floor tom! you're like the next dave grohl...
i threw a snare in to a cement wall at a show once. needless to say, the snare was never played again.

Woah man, forgot about this topic.
Thanks for all the kind words guys! It's funny because I just meant to kick my throne back, ended up getting the floor tom too. Everyone loved that.
I'll be back with videos with my new band soon!

Jason You are one hell of a drummer! You are always solid, on beat, energetic, and enthusiastic.
